| This 3D image is a rendering of an artery stent. A stent is a cylindrical wired apparatus which can be placed in the artery of a cardiac patient to keep the blood flowing through it. The above image against pink is the rendering of the 3D stent, and below is an image of the stent inserted in an artery.
